Make it so people cant afk / wait out the police when caught in a house robbery

TLDR: Make it so after 5mins max people get kicked out of a house robbery to prevent people getting caught by police and sitting in there

Recently I've been turning up to a house robbery report (via WN) to hear the police saying they have been posted up for 5/10/15/20 mins already and they know someone is inside as this person has been seen running back in, and is now sat waiting the police out while his mates either go rob a store or commit a crime that takes prio over the house robbery. I feel this is borderline meta as lets be honest in real life the police would outman the person robbing the building.

Have to agree forcing the cops to assault a home with only a single working entrance because of game mechanics is pretty meta.

Sarcasm?

The alert is at best very inconsistent and there is no alert/notification made. Just a red icon in the general area of the robbery that most don't notice until it's too late anyways. Also, not every officer gets the icon so that further reduces the probability of anyone ever showing up.

LOL no sarcasm at all.  In fact I think there's a general rule about not doing crime at instanced locations because of this (obv not an option here)- PD doesn't have the tools like dynamic entry, gas, stun grenades, attack dogs..  Basically any of the techniques used to subdue a barricaded perp.  The only choice is to rush a single doorway into the muzzle of a shotgun or wait indefinitely.  To be fair that's the perps only option as well once cornered because there's no ducking out a back window, either.

OP suggested a timer after which they are ejected from the home, maybe somewhere other than the front door like when you log off inside one? This seems the easiest way to replicate the whole process above while still giving the burglar a chance to evade capture.

Wanted to add that AlSec would love the opportunity to install alarm systems that make that notification more specific

From a PD standpoint, I feel shitty just standing at the front door like "yyyyeeppp. Just waiting to catch this mofo". Mind you, that was before the alert was broken.

Since then I've tried playing stupid and standing in the driveway or on the sidewalk. Maybe even flopping while running after them.

I do like the timer idea though. Seems intersting.
