Problem:

No banks can be robbed.

People use super cars to escape up the highway, No creative getaways.

Solution:

Get a Green Decryption Key from selling drugs. (Use Decryption key to get past vault door.)

Successfully rob a Bank truck for Bank Access Card. (Use Bank Access Card to get passed the secondary gate)

Get Industrial drill bit from the beach.

Get Drill from Mega Mall. (Use Industrial drill bit and drill to get money out of bank security box)

Balance:

Banks will need Police online to be robbed.

Getaway vehicle must be a local stolen off the streets.

Banks will require multiple items to reduce the ability of one group hitting one everyday.

Each bank can only be it once per server restart.

Drilling should take 5minutes to give PD time to respond.

Banks/heists implemented

Having Banks/heists means that it could add some fun RP for both cops & crims to be involved with. The police will need to go through training in order to make sure they know how to deal with the situation, Then once they are trained they are good to take on real situations.

The way this would work would be a set of tasks so its not something you can just randomly do when you're bored. So will need to have a drill, 10k dirty and a tablet/laptop. You then use the laptop and it will give you a location to go buy a diamond drill bit up at paleto  for the 10k dirty. Then you will get a selection of 3-5 banks with all different difficulties (the harder the bank the longer the time it takes to hack/drill but gives a higher payout).

The payout for banks should be:

Easy- between 20k-30k and it will take 3 min to hack/drill

Medium- 31k-40k and it will take 5 to hack/drill

Hard- 41k-60k and will take 7:30 mins to hack/drill

The items you need to do the bank should not be able to be stacked so gangs/grinders cant hold 20 diamond tip drills ready for when its reset, so every time you want to do a bank you have to collect the drill bit so its going to take at least 15 mins to start the bank heist 

When doing banks you should be able to loot the other safes in the bank and get smaller items from a loot table of high value items(Rolex, jewellery, chains, tablet and laptops). Then you can get some extra cash in your pocket maybe even some decryption keys.

Banks can only be done when 4 cops (not including cadets) are clocked in so there will always be a response from the cops and it makes it fair, There should also be cool downs for banks lasting 3:30 hours so it gives cops a break from the banks so a maximum of 3 banks in the 12 hours. The banks wont be able to be hit until a random time after restart lasting between 20mins (6:20pm/am GMT) and 1hour 20mins (7:20pm/am GMT) so it cant be hit instantly after restart.

How would the vehicle part be enforced? I mean once you have the money what's gonna stop you from getting in a local car, drive a few meters away to a import?

Simple you will have all of the player ID when they are in the bank. If they get into an import. Ship the IDs easy 24 hour ban

I can think of a pretty good IC reason not to be using your own import supercar in a bank robbery. :D

Why wouldn’t the cops just boot the car outside to keep you from escaping?

Other players getting farmed as bargaining chips is not RP they want to be a part of most of the time. How do we prevent this from negativity impacting them?


How do we keep police from becoming exhausted of doing bank robberies every 15 minutes and also make sure they’re available to perform other police functions?

Oops I wanted to add one more thing. I don’t want our staff to become over burdened by staff tickets for people using the “wrong” car in RP. This will create multiple situations because people won’t follow this type of rule or know about it until after it’s too late. So this means everyone that hits a bank besides a select few who read and follow rules will end up creating a staff situation.

What if theres requirements for it. So you need "randomly generated local car name" and find "random NPC" once completed to gain the money. So vs stealing money you're stealing a seeming worthless item to turn in to an NPC who is randomly in the city, who gives you a predetermined amount of money?

I like the way this could extend the RP beyond the robbery itself, since the item could then be traded, lost, or stolen before it makes it to a hacker or fence. Hot loot is fun.

That is a good idea as well. There are always options to open things up. Just need to know where they go. Something that would ensure the "mission" meets all requirements. So rob bank for codes/item, need unspecified vehicle, to meet NPC/hacker to get transfer of funds for said item/code.
