Problem:


Selling drugs on the street can get old and repetitive.

As it is now you sell 1-3bags of coke/meth 1-4bags of weed at a time for dirty money.


Solution:


Add ability to sell 1-10bags

(If you sell 10 bags the "Selling Drugs" bar will take longer.)

Example: 3seconds per bag.

Get dirty money plus a chance to get an additional item.

Example: Laptop, USB, Tablet, Green Decryption Key or Advanced lock picks

(USB could be used to rob a safe in the back of a store)

(Green Decryption Key for Banks)


How is this balanced?

Police have a better chance of catching you in the act if you are talking

to a local for 30seconds. Keep time delay between sales when Police offline.

Gives people that sell on the street an extra incentive/reason to sell.
You have a chance of getting a bonus item. (If police are online)


The more the local buys the less you make.

Example for Coke:                             Chance of sale

1bag    =  $270 per bag  =    $270            19%

2bags  =  $260 per bag  =    $520            17%

3bags  =  $250 per bag  =   $750             15%

4bags  =  $240 per bag  =   $960             13%

5bags  =  $230 per bag  =   $1,150          11%

6bags  =  $220 per bag  =   $1,320            9%

7bags  =  $210 per bag  =   $1,470            7%

8bags  =  $200 per bag  =   $1,600            5%

9bags  =  $190 per bag  =   $1,710            3%

10bags=  $180 per bag  =   $1,800            1%

This sounds cool in its own right, but also a good way to curb day one characters having keys to the city for whatever reason.  Doesn't matter if you know where the bug powder hive is hidden when the mugwumps refuse to deal with randoms anyhow...

I’m kinda torn on this one as suggested but I do think I have an idea to enhance the sales side of the drug system that will accomplish the same type of thing.

For starters I can just increased the potential max amount sold per transaction and add a dynamic timer to complete the sale based on the number of bags the NPC wants. I wouldn’t want the money to spread as much as the example but I could add a very slight bulk discount because at the street level you’re not likely to get a bulk discount anyway and I don’t want to really punish the income on street sales.


Then, I can add a method to do delivery runs once you have earned enough street cred and customers. At this point an option would open up for you to do an Uber eats style delivery job but you’d be selling your drugs.
