Love this mechanic overall, think it could apply to a few more melee weapons if anything.. but:
It would be cool if I didn't have to go out to the truck for my shotgun when the coyotes are trying to snatch my chicken bucket out the holes in the floor of my trailer.
Bit awkward for everyone involved.

Can't do this, the mechanics would allow for too many rule violations and staff situations.
