So last night I got arrested and the officer had a little bit of an attitude which wasn't a big deal and I don't honestly remember the officers name or badge number, also don't want him getting in trouble just letting you guys know. but anyways so I was arrested and sentence to jail time when he arrested me he took my gun, lot picks, and my phone and didn't give them when I was released, I did have the gun legally I had my license to own it, I seen from other severs that they give that stuff back, so maybe we could try and implement that into this sever I think it would be a good idea, because i asked another officer and they said it just gets destroyed after awhile.

You should be able to go to PD and get your legal items back. If they won't give them to you, seek out a lawyer and sue them.

This is something to be handled in character, either in the city or via the #services-complaints channel in the City Council section of the Discord. 

If instead you think a server rule was broken & they were toxic or abusive please make a player report with a clip or any other evidence you might have.

Either way, posting about it here won't help.

i think you'll find this is situational anywhere you go.  You said you did jail time so I'm assuming you took a plea? It would follow that police confiscated your lockpicks as criminal tools and any weapons you may have been carrying since they were technically being used in commission of a crime. 

If this seems unfair it is, again, something better handled in character.  Call a lawyer and extend that RP my friend!

PD will typically take belongings from you because you can't take them to jail. Sometimes if you get a lawyer, you'll be able to give them your belongings. Waiting for a high enough ranking PD member to get your stuff could be near impossible for the times to align.
