Economy for Whitelisted jobs
This is mainly aimed at all the whitelisted jobs throughout the city, recently I've been thinking about how salaries haven't been paying as much as they really should compared to other jobs, for example D8 and LSC, Every department from what I know has equal pay checks for the ranks, but what concerns me is the amount of money LSC and D8 make from the extra commissions of tuning a car or selling a house, If i was to sell a 1 million $ house to another civilian, the D8 agent helping me sell the house would earn around 100k from taxes for the house. That in my eyes is absurd, compared to the insane training and life or death situations me as a cop goes through or the amount of stress EMS have to go through to save the life of another human or the amount of laws lawyers need to understand to do their job and for us to have the same salary as LSC and D8 that gets commissions from tuning cars or selling houses, I personally think that PD and the other departments need a salary increase to match the balance of economy through all the whitelisted jobs. I don't care about the money. But i think that this should be balanced out a bit more. Im putting this here to hear the opinions of other people in the community and members of the whitelisted jobs. Either D8 and LSC need to get less money from their % of taxes, or PD, EMS and Lawyers need to get a salary increase the match the balance of the other jobs.
Your figures are much higher than reality for those jobs but here's how it goes...
The commissions are about economy drain. When D8 sells a $1,000,000 house they're taking that money out of the economy. Since no one can sell a house for cash that money will never come back. Same with LSC when they charge for car modifications. Since they're doing that, they get to keep 5% as a commission meaning instead of 1,000,000 getting drained out 9,950,000 gets drained out.
But police take money out when they fine people!
Yup, and they also get free ammo, guns, cars, helicopters, gas and free insurance replacements on cars . So instead of us charging cops for those things we'll just call it even. ;)
Not to mention a vast majority of players are more attracted to Police jobs than any other profession... so having those other options helps to keep things more even. Its not about the money as you say... there's a lot more to the jobs than just money.
