Dealership as a whitelisted job

At the moment, dealerships are personally funded, with either freelancers or no pays towards people.

Wouldnt it be nice, to get dealerships to the next level, by giving them a little push in there wallet to hire people?

This meaning, A dealership & there employees become whitelisted on dealerships.

This means, you cannot be a mechanic at day, and dealership owner or employee at night.

That means the current people in question, involved in the changes have to make a decision to stick at the mechanics, or stick at the dealerships.

What will bring this to RP?

1. It will benefit dealership rp as they have to make money either doing Non whitelisted jobs, Or criminal actions, Which option 2 will put there business at risk.

2. There cannot be big funds made by whitelisted jobs, Example a mechanic earns 1600$ each 10 minutes. so he will make: 9.600$ flat pay at mechanics a hour.

So he can "farm" his money at mechanics and put it in the funds for the cardealer.

3. Implenting this will get rid of the big gap that is between the businesses, which makes a business Indipented off its own earnings. Which will take more time and effort of the dealership in question. Hard work pays off. Work hard, stay on top of your game and you earn more money.

This will also add new opportunities for jobs for new people coming into the city as there will be more work in the end.

I like this in general, however:

1. It will benefit dealership rp as they have to make money either doing Non whitelisted jobs, Or criminal actions, Which option 2 will put there business at risk.

It seems to me that if you're needing to haul trash or drive a cab to support owning a dealership, something is wrong.  Same goes for holding another whitelist job but I do like the idea of it being an "exclusive" job to own a dealership.  I think working there as a salesperson should be less restrictive.

Generally speaking I'm for anything to reduce the amount "do everything/jack of all trades" characters.  For example a lawyer that also owns a restaurant and steals cars for parts on the side seems kinda fail RP to me, but that's just, like, my opinion man.

At any rate your proposal is a nice move away from that kind of thing.

My lawyer got picked up on possession of cocaine and went to prison before my court case and left me out of my retainer and out of legal representation once...

Generally speaking we want people to be free to create their own stories and live the life they think fits the character they play. Dealerships will be getting the same systems that player owned businesses get with our 1.0 update which does include pay for employees and restrictions on having whitelist jobs.
